Footsteps Through Time

Visitors will be guided through 10,000 years of history tracing the formation of the Islands from the galciers, through the native peoples, the early settlers, the War of 1812, the marine history including logging and ice harvesting, the Golden Age of castles and cottages up to the opening of the International Bridge. Seaesonal exhibits display artefacts relating directly to the history of Gananoque as well as visiting exhibits from other Museums.
Summer programs and special events will appeal to all ages, visitors and residents alike. Canadiana Gift Shop on site.
